Software Engineer - Almaden Controls
What to expect:
Almaden Controls is a seed-stage startup with a mission to create an operating system for clean and reliable power systems. Large solar and energy storage deployments are accelerating, and these plants require sophisticated control and monitoring systems for reliable operation and integration with the grid system. Almaden Controls is currently building a proof-of-concept prototype of an integrated development environment (IDE) for designing, configuring, monitoring and operating solar and battery storage plants and microgrids.
You will be one of the very first hires and will have a direct impact at the foundational stages of mission-driven product development for renewable energy. You will work directly with Silicon Valley veterans experienced with large-scale deployments. Almaden Controls offers competitive compensation. What you will do:
You will help develop the desktop application to be used to generate, edit, simulate, and deploy controls libraries and deployable configurations.
